This Privacy Notice explains how BuyerBaba, operated by Maroof LLC, handles your personal information — what we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It works alongside our Conditions of Use.

1.This Privacy Notice explains how Maroof LLC, which operates the BuyerBaba marketplace, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information across the BuyerBaba websites, applications, and services, and the choices you have. It applies to buyers, sellers, and visitors. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Conditions of Use.
Information we collect
2.We collect information you provide — such as your name, contact details, account credentials, business and tax details (for sellers), order and shipping information, communications, reviews, and support requests. We collect information automatically when you use the Service — such as device and browser data, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and activity — using cookies and similar technologies. We also receive information from partners who help us operate — for example our payment provider, identity and fraud-prevention partners, address-verification providers, and shipping carriers. Full payment card and bank details are collected and processed by our payment provider; we do not store them.
How we use information
3.We use information to: create and secure accounts; process, fulfil, and support orders and payments; operate, maintain, and improve BuyerBaba; personalize your experience and show relevant listings; detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents; communicate with you about your account, orders, and — where you have chosen to receive them — updates and offers; and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can opt out of non-essential marketing at any time; we will still send transactional messages needed to run your account and orders.
Your privacy rights
6.Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Because we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of for those uses. Virginia residents may, under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, also appeal a decision we make about a rights request. You can submit a request through our Help Center; we will verify it before acting on it and respond within the time the law allows.
How we protect information
7.We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices, and we work with providers who maintain recognized security standards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security and rely on you to protect your sign-in details and to tell us promptly about any suspected compromise.
How long we keep information
8.We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide BuyerBaba and for legitimate business and legal purposes — including completing transactions, providing support, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting tax, accounting, and other legal obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it. Order, payment, and tax records are retained for the periods required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
9.BuyerBaba is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age of majority where required). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
10.BuyerBaba is operated from the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Third-party sites
11.The Service may link to third-party websites and services that BuyerBaba does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for them. Review the privacy notice of any third-party site you visit.
Changes to this notice
12.We may update this notice as the Service and applicable law change. If we make material changes, we will post the updated notice with a new effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you understand the current notice.
